“Qui veut être mon associé ?”
Running communications for a TV appearance with a fixed air date
French national TV show (the local Dragons’ Den), season 6“Qui veut être mon associé ?”
Context
The company appeared on a national prime-time show. The conversion window comes down to a single evening and the air date is imposed: the whole setup has to be ready and tested beforehand, with no second chance.
My exact role
- Project lead on the whole operation: overall management, set design and dressing, pitch preparation — validated by a public-speaking expert.
- Design and execution of a three-stage communication strategy: before, during and after the broadcast.
Actions taken
- Email capture pop-up synced with the broadcast, triggered during the audience window.
- Klaviyo flows set up in advance to convert the audience peak that very evening.
- Set design and dressing.
- Pitch preparation with a public-speaking expert.
- Communication sequence before, during and after the broadcast.
Results
28,000pop-up views
+3,200contacts captured
11%completion rate on the night
≈ €10,000in revenue attributed to email flows that evening
What I take away: a national audience peak never happens twice. The capture setup has to be sized and tested before the broadcast, not adjusted during it.
