Context
X-plorer is my master’s end-of-year project, an intimate health and digital wellbeing app. The brief: a product ready to launch by the end of the year. That means the app, and everything a launch requires around it — business model, costing, timeline and communication.
My exact role
- Market research through a user survey: over 100 responses collected.
- Ongoing market watch, automated with AI.
- Product and user-journey design: assessment, score, personalised plan, suggested experiences.
- Business plan and budget forecast.
- Costed communication and marketing plan over one financial year, from October 2026 to September 2027.
- Project management for a mock team: Gantt chart, progress tracking and three-level governance in Notion, with milestones consolidated by department.
Actions taken
- App prototype: Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase.
- Static pre-registration landing page, connected to Supabase (waitlist table, anonymous insert under RLS).
- Interactive demo replaying the app journey — assessment, score, plan, experiences — with the scoring engine ported one-to-one from the prototype.
What this project demonstrates
A school project: no market launch, so no commercial results to publish. What it shows lies elsewhere — carrying a design through end to end, from market research to costing, and holding a schedule over a full financial year.
